MISSION

The missions of the Master of Clinical Pharmacy Program in the Faculty of Pharmacy are:

1. Create an education pattern and learning in the field of clinical pharmacy with international competitiveness
2. Create research in the field of clinical pharmacy with international competitiveness
3. Providing service programs to the community in order to improve rational drug use

The master program in clinical pharmacy is an advanced practice program which objectives of this program are based on competences of the pharmacist professional program graduates and International-based clinical pharmacist competencies. This program ensures that the graduates possess the knowledge, skills, attitude, and behaviours necessary to deliver comprehensive medication management in team-based (interprofessional collaboration), direct patient care environments.

The objectives of this program are:

1. Produce graduates that competence in clinical pharmacy with respect the characteristics of National culture in the world cultural diversity.
2. Increase the research-based learning quality according to Universitas Padjadjaran Principal Scientific Pattern (PIP) and local wisdom.
3. Increase the quality of scientific publication, innovative product and policy in the field of clinical pharmacy.
4. Able to conduct academic studies, research and innovation, and solving problems in the relevant community or pharmaceutical service through developing their knowledge and expertise, especially in the field of clinical pharmacy.
5. Enhance role of clinical pharmacist in strategic collaboration (academic, investor, government, community and media) for better community wellness.

Graduate Competence of Clinical Pharmacy Master Program of Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Padjadjaran expected to have:

1.  Able to make pharmaceutical care plans in order to improve the quality of life of patients.
2. Able to be part of the health team in patient care to participate in making professional contributions in improving the quality of life of patients.
3. Able to identify Drug Related Problems (DRPs) and provide professional solutions for DRPs findings.
4. Able to monitor drug therapy effectively and efficiently in order to optimize drug use
5. Able to provide objective and up-to-date information services, either independently or as part of the information service unit for patients, health workers and other parties in need.
6. Able to calculate nutritional requirements and prepare aseptic preparations.
7. Able to manage the incidence of poisoning or clinical toxicology
8. Able to perform dosage calculations and adjustments for patients
9. Able to carry out disease management in the fields of psychiatry, gastrology, obstetrics and gynecology, nervous system, endocrine, heart, kidney and blood vessels, oncology, infection, respiratory system, immunology, children, medical intensive care unit optimally.
10. Able to design and develop in order to improve the quality of clinical pharmacy services through a scientific / research approach
11. Able to utilize and develop research results through research activities, and play an active role in scientific development through participation in scientific organizations, conferences, and publications both national and international
12. Able to write scientific papers in accredited and internationally recognized national journals

Graduates of the Master of Pharmacy Study Program are scattered in various fields of work:

1. Pharmacists who carry out clinical pharmacy services in hospitals, clinics, health centers, pharmacies, and other pharmaceutical services.
2. Pharmacists in government institutions (Health Service, Ministry of Health) and non-government (Health Foundation).
3. Experts at the Clinical Laboratory
4. Lecturer in the field of pharmacy (clinical pharmacy, pharmacology).

General Explanation:

1. Selection of Unpad Masters Program prospective students is carried out through the Padjadjaran University (SMUP) Entrance Selection mechanism.
2. The selection process consists of administration selection and interview examinations.
3. Registration and filling out the SMUP online form can be done after the participant has made the Selection Fee payment.

Registration Requirements:

1. Indonesian citizens, or foreign nationals who have received approval from the Director General of Higher Education.
2. Recent color photographs of size 3 × 4 cm (uploaded when registering online).
3. Have a S1 diploma (Photocopy of a diploma that has been legalized brought when the interview exam)
4. Grade Point Average (GPA) of prospective students (legalized academic transcripts must be taken during the interview). Minimum S1 GPA 2.75
5. Masters Program applicants.
6. Have a certificate of Academic Ability Test (TKA) from BPIP Faculty of Psychology, Padjadjaran University, TPA Bappenas, or other Government Agencies minimum 450
7. Have a certificate of English Language Ability Test (TKBI) issued from the Language Center of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Padjadjaran University or ELT certificate, TOEFL ITP, TOEFL IBT, IELTS minimum 450 for paper based TOEFL, 45 for Internet Based TOEFL, 135 for Computer based TOEFL, 4.5 for IELTS
8. Selection participants fill out forms for payment of SMUP registration at Bank Mandiri, BNI and BRI and register online.
9. Participants access to the https://pendaftaran.unpad.ac.id/login page to sign-up to the SMUP participant portal. The data needed is:
   Name
   Phone number
   Email address
   Population Identification Number (NIK)
   Date of birth
   Residence address
   Last education
   Enter the desired “Password” to login to the SMUP participant portal. (Please remember the password, because it will always be used for every access / login to the SMUP participant portal page).
10. Participants will get a billing number for the SMUP selection fee. Click the “Save / Print” button, after printing the billing number the participant then pays the selection fee bill to Bank Mandiri, BNI, or BRI. The process of registering and choosing a study program can be done after paying the selection fee.
11. Save with proof of payment that is owned.
12. Please note at the time of payment at the Bank, explain the chosen Masters level at the Bank Teller. Check the selected level on the payment receipt from the Bank. Errors in payment of selection fees are the responsibility of prospective participants.
13. Participants log back to the registration page https://pendaftaran.unpad.ac.id/login using the NIK and Password that was created at the time of sign-up (Point 1).
14. Fill out the registration form online. To expedite the online Biodata filling process, prospective participants should prepare:
    Complete personal data
    Data origin of education
    Statement of Purpose
    Choice of study program
    TKA Certificate (TPA Bappenas or from other Government Agencies) and TKBI (ELT, ITE TOEFL, TOEFL IBT, IELTS).
15. Biodata filling is only permitted ONE TIME, and no facilities are provided to make changes / improvements (EDIT) of the Biodata field of data already filled in online.
16. After completing online biodata, prospective participants are required to:
    Print Biodata and Statements using A4 size paper.
    Complete the Biodata field and the Statement.

Special Requirements:

• Concentration of Clinical Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy: Pharmacists
• Clinical Biochemistry Concentration: Bachelor of  Pharmacy, Pharmacist, Biology, Chemistry, and other allied fields
