The vision of the Master Program in Pharmacy is to become an Excellent Master Program in Pharmacy in Research and International Competitive by 2024.
MISSION
The mission of the Master Program in Pharmacy of the Faculty of Pharmacy is:
- Organizing research-based master of pharmacy education which is relevant to the development of science and technology and meets the demands of the community.
- Organizing the management of the Master of Pharmacy Study Program which are professional, accountable and regionally competitive.
- Carrying out research which oriented towards scientific publications, innovative products and superior policies in the pharmaceutical field.
- Carrying out services / community services by utilizing the results of research in the pharmaceutical field.
- Organizing cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector through the pentahelix concept.
The objectives of the Master Program in Pharmacy are:
- Creating competent academicians in the field of pharmacy with RESPECT characteristics (Responsible, Excellent, Scientific Rigor, Professional, Encouraging, Creative and Trust) and uphold the nobility of Sundanese culture and national culture in the diversity of world cultures.
- Realizing the management of the Master of Pharmacy Study Program which is professional, accountable and has a, excellent reputation in the region.
- Increasing the capacity of excellent research and innovation in the pharmaceutical field based on the Principal Scientific Pattern (Pola Ilmiah Pokok (PIP) of Unpad.
- Realizing service / community service by utilizing research results in the pharmaceutical field.
- Realizing mutual benefit in the pharmaceutical field through the pentahelix concept.
MAIN COMPETENCIES
The main competencies of the Master Program in Pharmacy (hereinafter abbreviated as PSMF) graduates from the Faculty of Pharmacy Unpad are in accordance with the vision and mission of the PSMF, learning outcomes (CP) from the Indonesian Pharmacy Higher Education Association (APTFI), Annex to Permenristekdikti No. 44 of 2015 concerning SNPT and input from pharmaceutical experts and advances in science and technology in the pharmaceutical field. The main competencies consist of:
- Concentration/Field of Pharmaceutical Analysis and Medicinal Chemistry
- Able to carry out drug research and development in the context of drug discovery and product development
- Able to carry out quality assurance tests for drug dosage form
- Able to implement their knowledge in the teaching and learning process in higher education in the field of pharmaceutical analysis and medicinal chemistry

Graduates of this study program will be absorbed by the market at the regional, national and international levels. Graduates will become lecturers, researchers at universities, research institutes, government and non-government institutions.
Regional Level
At the regional level, graduates will be absorbed by state and private universities in West Java, with the total 14 undergraduate pharmacy study programs. Additionally, the graduates also can be be absorbed by the government agencies in West Java such as the Public Health Office, The Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM), and the Government Research Institute. Furthermore, graduates can also be absorbed by non-government (private) agencies such as pharmaceutical industries, health foundation, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and others.
National Level
At the national level, graduates can be absorbed by 79 undergraduate study programs. Additionally, it can also be absorbed by national government agencies such as BPOM, and Research Institutions, pharmaceutical industries. Graduates can also be absorbed by non-government (private) agencies such as the pharmaceutical industry, health foundations, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and others.
International Level
Graduates of the Master program in pharmacy can be absorbed by neighbouring country such as Malaysia at several public and private universities. As a reference, graduates of the Master Program in Pharmacy of Unpad have been absorbed by several universities in Malaysia, namely the University of Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) and Geometrica College.

General Explanation:
- Selection of Unpad Masters Program prospective students is carried out through the Padjadjaran University (SMUP) Entrance Selection mechanism.
- The selection process consists of administration selection and interview examinations.
- Registration and filling out the SMUP online form can be done after the participant has made the Selection Fee payment.
Registration Requirements:
- Indonesian citizens, or foreign nationals who have received approval from the Director General of Higher Education.
- Recent color photographs of size 3 × 4 cm (uploaded when registering online).
- Have a S1 diploma (Photocopy of a diploma that has been legalized brought when the interview exam)
- Grade Point Average (GPA) of prospective students (legalized academic transcripts must be taken during the interview). Minimum S1 GPA 2.75
- Masters Program applicants.
- Have a certificate of Academic Ability Test (TKA) from BPIP Faculty of Psychology, Padjadjaran University, TPA Bappenas, or other Government Agencies minimum 450
- Have a certificate of English Language Ability Test (TKBI) issued from the Language Center of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Padjadjaran University or ELT certificate, TOEFL ITP, TOEFL IBT, IELTS minimum 450 for paper based TOEFL, 45 for Internet Based TOEFL, 135 for Computer based TOEFL, 4.5 for IELTS
- Selection participants fill out forms for payment of SMUP registration at Bank Mandiri, BNI and BRI and register online.
- Participants access to the https://pendaftaran.unpad.ac.id/login page to sign-up to the SMUP participant portal. The data needed is:

Enter the desired “Password” to login to the SMUP participant portal. (Please remember the password, because it will always be used for every access / login to the SMUP participant portal page). - Participants will get a billing number for the SMUP selection fee. Click the “Save / Print” button, after printing the billing number the participant then pays the selection fee bill to Bank Mandiri, BNI, or BRI. The process of registering and choosing a study program can be done after paying the selection fee.
- Save with proof of payment that is owned.
- Please note at the time of payment at the Bank, explain the chosen Masters level at the Bank Teller. Check the selected level on the payment receipt from the Bank. Errors in payment of selection fees are the responsibility of prospective participants.
- Participants log back to the registration page https://pendaftaran.unpad.ac.id/login using the NIK and Password that was created at the time of sign-up (Point 1).
- Fill out the registration form online. To expedite the online Biodata filling process, prospective participants should prepare:

- After completing online biodata, prospective participants are required to:

Curriculum
The structure of the courses applied in the Masters of Pharmacy Study Program at the Faculty of Pharmacy Unpad follows the Higher Education Curriculum standards in accordance with Permenristekdikti No. 44 of 2015. This curriculum is periodically changed every 5 (five) years in a Curriculum Change Workshop and is evaluated annually in a Curriculum Evaluation Workshop. Education in the Master of Pharmacy Study Program consists of 4 semesters with a minimum 36 credits.
