In this topic, students will understand and practice good laboratory practice, practice good and correct work behavior in biotechnology laboratories including the use of Personal Protective Equipment, Good laboratory practice, handling waste and spills while working in the laboratory Able to understand the principles of chromosomal DNA isolation, isolation of plasmid DNA PCR, DNA electrophoresis, sequencing and analyzing the sequencing results, making phylogenetic trees with software, making competent cells, transformation, analysis with restriction enzymes, overproduction of recombinant proteins, obtaining recombinant proteins, separating proteins, identifying proteins with western blot and practicing them. |
