After graduating from this course, students are expected to be able to:

1. Explain the anatomy and physiology of the digestive system correctly (Bloom Taxonomy Cognitive Domain) C2);
2. Explain the pathophysiology of disorders of the digestive system correctly (Bloom Taxonomy Cognitive Domain C2);
3. explain pharmacotherapy (pharmacological therapy and non-pharmacological therapy) in the treatment of disorders of the digestive system properly (Bloom Taxonomy Cognitive Domain C2);
4. Identify and provide appropriate solutions to drug-related problems including interactions, toxicity, side effects, non-adherence, and drug abuse (Bloom Taxonomy Cognitive Domain C3);
5. Carry out self-medication services including alternative therapies, drug doses and proper consideration of doctor’s referrals (Bloom Taxonomy Cognitive Domain C3).
