After following this practicum course, 

1. Able to take inventory and explain the physical and chemical properties of solvents and solutes that affect solubility, stability, and other biopharmaceutical properties/behaviors used in the development of pharmaceutical drug dosage forms & biopharmaceuticals, traditional medicines & supplements, and cosmetics
2. Able to explain the important factors required to design, manufacture, and evaluate various dosage forms and other drug delivery systems
3. Able to identify and explain the principles governing absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of drug substances, and the factors influencing these processes.

Syllabus

Practicum is support for Basic Pharmaceutical (1 credit) which aims to train pharmacist candidates in devoting their knowledge and expertise in drug compounding and health services in the pharmaceutical sector in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations. After attending the lab and finishing materials this lab, students are expected to be skilled in carrying out compounding and blending of pharmaceuticals based on formula standards and prescriptions into pharmaceutical dosage forms (solid, liquid, semisolid) correctly
