Students are expected to be able to understand and explain the basics of reactions: identification of cations, anions and inorganic salts and functional groups (alcohol, phenol, carboxylic acid, alkaloids and nitrogenous bases, barbiturates), knowing the concepts and processes supporting drug solubility and determining drug solubility parameters, knowing drug identification by TLC method. |
