The material provided includes simplicia, phytochemical extraction and screening methods, herbal medicine manufacturing process technology, standardization of herbal medicines, secondary metabolites content in simplicia (flavonoids, quinones, tannins and polyphenols, essential oils) which include classification, biosynthesis, systematics, chemical content, related to pharmacology and examples of the use of plants in medicine. |
