Padjadjaran University Entrance Selection (Seleksi Masuk Universitas Padjadjaran/SMUP) for Undergraduate Pharmacy Program

Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Number 60 of 2018 concerning the Admission of New Undergraduate Students at State Universities, the PTN entry selection pattern is carried out through three selection channels, namely SNMPTN, SBMPTN and Independent Selection, with each SNMPTN minimum capacity. 20%, minimum SBMPTN 40% and Mandiri Selection maximum 30% of the capacity quota of each PTN.

Padjadjaran University (Unpad) in admitting new students for the Undergraduate Program (S1) in 2019 has determined the capacity of each selection pathway, namely SNMPTN (25%), SBMPTN (50%) and Independent Selection (25%).

Unpad gives the best boys and girls the opportunity to take part in the 2019 Padjadjaran University Independent Path Selection. The policy is related to the development of a national standard model and selection process and refers to the principles of fairness, transparency, flexibility, efficiency, accountability. as well as in accordance with the development of information technology in the digital era.

Independent selection still focuses on academic ability, not just economic ability. Students who are admitted through the Independent Pathway pay tuition fees according to the education program based on the Chancellor’s Decree with the highest Single Tuition Fee (UKT) (UKT 5) and are subject to Development Fund (DP) fees of different amounts.

The range of the amount of DP between the minimum value is Rp. 20,000,000, – up to a maximum value of Rp. 250,000,000, – for the Science and Technology Study Program, and between a minimum value of Rp. 15,000,000, – up to a maximum value of Rp. 75,000,000, – for the Soshum Study Program.

Prospective students who are proven to come from poor families can take the Independent Path Selection and are not required to pay DP fees and UKT fees.
