PSPA Pharmacy UNPAD Holds Monev PKPA

[Bandung, 26/02/2021] The Pharmacist Professional Study Program (PSPA), Faculty of Pharmacy, Padjadjaran University conducted Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) for Professional Pharmacist Work Practices (PKPA) on Friday, March 26, 2021. This Monev activity for the January to February 2021 period was attended by 16 PKPA students, 4 lecturers. field supervisor, namely Dr. apt. Eli Halimah, M.Si .; apt. Melisa Intan Barliana, Dr.Med.Sc .; apt. Gofarana Wilar, Ph.D, and apt. Imam Adi Wicaksono, M.Si .; as well as a preceptor or supervisor from Dr. Hasan Sadikin, namely apt. Ilman Silanas, M.Kes., Monev PKPA was held online with Dr. RSUP institution. Hasan Sadikin and discussed a series of activities that had been given by the RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin and the output achieved by the students.

Pharmacist Ilman Silanas, M.Kes explained that from November 2020, Dr. Hasan Sadikin admitted PKPA students but it was carried out online, but because there was a government program, namely mass vaccines and Dr. Hasan Sadikin is part of the mass vaccine implementation, so the next period in March PKPA activities will be carried out directly at RSHS. He also said that there were no significant problems from students during the PKPA activities or the presentations that had been going on so far, it was just that there were some technical problems such as missing signals that occurred when students were performing their assignments.

As an experienced pharmacist and alumni of Pharmacy Unpad, apt. Ilman left a message to prospective pharmacist students not to hesitate to ask about pharmaceutical matters, especially in hospitals. “I hope the younger siblings will not hesitate to ask about pharmaceutical matters, especially in the hospital and I suggest students be more diligent in reading journals with the aim of getting used to receiving and studying scientific information, in other words, increasing intelligence in terms of literacy,” said Ilman.

This monitoring and evaluation activity was closed with a closing statement from the apt. Gofarana Wilar, Ph.D., stated that during this pandemic, not many hospitals were willing to accept students to carry out PKPA activities, Unpad Pharmacy was very grateful to Dr. Hasan Sadikin who still opens opportunities for students to do PKPA. Even though it was carried out online, both Dr. Hasan Sadikin and Pharmacy Unpad hope that students can dig up information independently and make the best use of technology.
