
New Pharmacist are Expected to be Pioneers to do Professional and Etichal Pharmaceutical Practices
Jatinangor, March 29, 2021. The Pharmacist Profession Study Program (PSPA) of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Padjadjaran University held an Open Session for Pharmacists Graduated in Odd Semester Academic Year 2020/2021 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Pharmacy’s Dean Building on Monday (29/3). Pharmacist Oath / Promise which is the second time held in a hybrid way, namely a combination of offline and online administration followed by 57 pharmacists broadcast live via Youtube streaming of the Faculty of Pharmacy and guided by the National Pharmacy Committee (KFN) as a representation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.
This activity was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. apt. Ajeng Diantini, M.Sc., Vice Dean for Learning, Student Affairs, and Research, Dr. apt. Aliya Nur Hasanah, S.Si., M.Si., Head of the Pharmacist Professional Study Program, Dr. apt. Ida Musfiroh, M.Sc., representative of the Central Board of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association, apt. Farhan, M.Farm, and apt. Febri Khairani, S.Si., M.Kes., As well as Acting (Plt) Head of the Health Office of West Java Province, Dr. Ir. Dewi Sartika, M.Si who was present online.
In his report, the Head of the PSPA Study Program Dr. apt. Ida Musfiroh, M.Si said that as many as 57 people who took the Pharmacist Oath passed after being tested through the internal (institutional) OSCE examination, comprehensive trial, and the National Computer Based Test (CBT) method of the Indonesian Pharmacist Competency Test (UKAI).
On this occasion, Ida also expressed his congratulations and hoped that the new Pharmacists could show their best service for the benefit of the community.
“Congratulations and success for new pharmacists who graduate in the odd semester of 2020/2021, show your best dedication for the benefit of the community,” said Ida.
Remarks were also delivered by the National Pharmacy Committee, which was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Unpad, Prof. Dr. apt. Ajeng Diantini, M.Si. In his remarks, KFN said that pharmacists as health workers have an important role in the success of the Covid-19 vaccination program by communicating the quality, benefits, or efficacy, and safety of vaccines to the public using scientific facts so that people are motivated to be vaccinated. In addition, a pharmacist must also participate in reporting any events related to post-immunization or AEFI and side effects that occur. On this occasion, an award was also given to graduates of the Pharmacist Professional Study Program for the Odd Semester of the Academic Year 2020/2021 which was delivered by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Apt. Dr. Aliya Nurhasanah, S.Si., M.Si. As for the winners of the award, namely apt. Bunga Dacilia Harsanti, S.Farm, who won the Dexa Award, is a graduate with the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.92. The next award is the Novell Award with the criteria for the Indonesian Pharmacist Competency Test (UKAI) given to Apt. Syara Nur Fitri Balqist, S.Farm with a score of 92 and apt. Quinzheilla Putri Arnanda, S.Farm with a score of 91. Next, the recipient of the Cendo Award with the criteria for memorizing the Koran was given to apt. Syifa Safira Maulida, S.Farm., As many as 30 Juz, apt. Novika Wahyuni, S.Farm., 4 juz and apt. Alya Mahira Kudri, S.Farm., 3 juz.
