Unpad Pharmacy Runs an Industrial Pharmacy Competency Improvement Program
[Farmasi.unpad.ac.id – Jatinangor, 22/2/2020] Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Padjadjaran through the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology (FTF) in collaboration with the Center for Drug Research and Development in 2020 will run a program to improve the competence of industrial pharmaceuticals using unpad central lab facilities.
“Increasing industrial pharmaceutical competency needs to be improved because it is driven by the increasingly high needs of the Pharmaceutical industry for pharmacists and masters graduates who are able to solve various dynamic problems in the industrial world.” Said Dr. Sriwidodo, M.Sc, .Apt, Head of the FTF Department (2/22/2020).
“The activity is in the form of industrial cooperation research, workshops, and seminars.” He continued.
According to him, with this program it is expected that competence in the field of RnD, production, QA, and other fields that is growing, will increase, both for students and practitioners.
Several principals and vendors of pharmaceutical raw materials at home and abroad have stated their willingness to participate in helping this program through activities that will be carried out on February 24, 2020 in collaboration with the ShinEtsu Pharmaceutical Company and Lawsim.
“Workshop dalam bentuk technical seminar terkait polimer untuk formulasi farmasetika akan dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Sentral, Universitas Padjadjaran yang memiliki alat-alat produksi dan evaluasi skala pilot untuk sediaan solid.” Tutur Sriwidodo.
“Dengan kolaborasi ini, diharapkan fakultas farmasi unpad turut berperan aktif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi farmasi, khususnya di bidang farmasi industri.” Tutupnya.
