Professional Industrial Coaching Pharmacy Quality Management Series Registration
[pharmacy.unpad.ac.id] Various developments taking place at the national, regional and global levels appear to be very fast, especially science and technology. The pharmaceutical industry is one industry that relies on technology by continuously renewing its ability to meet government regulations in this case CPOB. This is certainly in line with the responsibilities of Pharmacists who are one of the key personnel in the pharmaceutical industry, are always required to continue to improve their competence to be in line with technological developments and regulations in order to produce pharmaceutical products that are safe, quality and efficacious.
The challenges of Pharmacy Higher Education (PTF) in preparing Pharmacists who are competent, reliable and have the best performance in pharmacy work nowadays, especially Pharmaceutical Industry, are getting bigger. Although the graduate standards and competency standards agreed upon by stakeholders (APTFI, IAI and KFN) are in the form of academic Pharmacy Education texts, the Indonesian Pharmacist Competency Standards (SKAI), in fact it is not easy to provide direct experience of Industrial pharmaceutical practice to the campus. What’s more, pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry are developing their expertise not only in RnD, production, QC and QA, but also in the fields of registration, marketing, supply chain, and so on.
One of the keywords to pursue the rapid needs of the world of work with the readiness of graduates, is to accelerate exposure to practice in the learning process of students. Competencies which include knowledge, skills, and behavioral attitudes must be introduced to students from an early age, so that prospective pharmacists have the right mindset, insight, and orientation in preparing for a career after being appointed as a Pharmacist.
Based on the gap in the implementation of theory on campus with the practice of industrial pharmacy at this time, the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Padjadjaran, in collaboration with Epsilon Sharing Community which is a container for Unpad Pharmacy alumni and practitioners of industrial pharmacy, wishes to collaborate in sharing experiences, knowledge and especially practice, by organizing training for prospective pharmacy college graduates in terms of implementing the knowledge gained on campus so that graduates are ready to practice pharmacy, especially in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
