Understanding of the environment (= ecology) derived from the Greek, the oikos and logos. Oikos means the habitat or the residence, while logos means knowledge or science. The term ecology is a sub basic biology as well as computers (comput = count; er = tool) which is a sub Statistics, Mathematics and Physics Electronic. The term ecology was first introduced by a philosopher named German biologist Ernst Haeckei in 1866. In general ecology can be defined as the science / studying the interrelationships between living things / organisms with their environment.
Terms such as Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Suspendid Solid (SS), levels of nitrogen phosphorus, fecal coli bacteria are the parameters that we often hear and read. But do not forget that these parameters are only used also to measure the level of processing results of processing building waste water before discharge into receiving water bodies. There are still many parameters that must be understood if we want to deal with environmental waste.
Pharmaceuticals and related institutions are grappling with the issue of manufacture, inspection of drugs and foods that are in fact using natural resources as raw materials should wise in anticipation of usage and the use of ingredients derived naturally or use of synthetic materials for the manufacture of drugs, both in material and residual manufacture.
The book is structured in such a way and by reading it will understand about the pollution, pollution control, handling mode examination in the laboratory as BOD, COD, and other parameters as far as pollution, are also given examples of wastewater treatment plants as well as examples of making a control project EIA. In the chapter Control Project EIA is given explicitly how to construct a new area so that the area meets the requirements of the EIA and Conservation of Natural Resources.
As a summary and results concoction of various ingredients and existing literature, this book will be very useful as teaching materials and reference in the field of pharmacy and other fields related to environmental impact analysis
